North2South Renovations is a licensed and insured Florida certified general contractor. Colby's team handles design, permits, plumbing, tile and the final walkthrough on every bathroom.
North2South Renovations offers bathroom remodeling in Delray Beach, FL and across Palm Beach County from its base on Albatross Road. Founder and owner-operator Colby Matheny started the company to bring honesty and real craftsmanship back to South Florida remodeling. The team brings 15 years of hands-on renovation experience to every job, large or small.
Because North2South holds a Florida certified general contractor license, it can take a bathroom down to the studs, move plumbing, pull permits and pass inspections without handing you off. Google reviewers say the same thing in different words: Colby explains what to expect each day, sets clear expectations and follows through.
Primary suites, guest baths and full gut renovations with walk-in showers, custom vanities, tile design and lighting upgrades. Materials are chosen to last in Florida's coastal climate. Recent work includes a fully renovated bathroom in Boca Raton with floating vanities and large-format tile.
Old tubs and cramped stalls replaced with custom walk-in showers. The work runs through demolition, rough-in plumbing, waterproofing, tile, glass and fixtures, with GFCI outlets and new lighting circuits brought up to current code along the way.
Full custom shaker, inset or semi-custom white cabinets, with quartz, quartzite and granite countertops. North2South says its team builds cabinets and fabricates countertops in-house, then installs them along with appliances, backsplash, flooring and any structural changes.
When the project spans several rooms, North2South manages permitting, scheduling, subcontractors, inspections and quality control as one point of contact. Whole-home work includes open-concept layouts, flooring, drywall and framing, trim and millwork, and custom closets.
North2South is a fully licensed and insured Florida general contractor, license CBC1269429, so permits, inspections and code compliance stay with the same company that does the work.
Reviewers credit owner Colby Matheny by name for being professional, knowledgeable and attentive from the first consultation to the final walkthrough.
A recent client wrote that the team walked them through what to expect each day of their bathroom remodel, which made the whole process feel seamless.
North2South holds a 5.0 rating across 84 Google reviews, with bathroom remodels the most mentioned project, followed by countertop replacements and custom cabinets.
Colby Matheny founded North2South Renovations with a plain goal: to redefine what South Florida homeowners can expect from a bathroom and home remodeling company, with honesty, craftsmanship and creativity at the center. He is the owner-operator, which means he is the person you meet at the consultation and the one reviewers thank by name at the end.
Today the company is a certified general contractor based in Delray Beach, with 15 years of hands-on renovation experience across Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, Delray Beach and Palm Beach Gardens.
